Alesha Duccini is a senior member of the women’s soccer team from Dubuque, Iowa. As a junior in 2018, Duccini started in 20 of the 21 Maverick matches playing 1,477 minutes. Among her many achievement include two game-winning goals and 26 shots on the net.

- What three words best describe you? Competitive, organized, passionate
- What tops your list of pet peeves? Being late for anything, I always have to be at least 10 minutes early to everything.
- If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? An otter because how can you not love an otter
- What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well? Drove in a blizzard in December during high school to meet with Coach Bahl on a recruiting visit.
- Who is your all-time favorite sports star? Mia Hamm and Shawn Johnson
- What is your most prized possession? A homemade quilt made by my great-grandma
- What three items can always be found in your refrigerator? String cheese, apple juice, and mini corn dogs
- If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Probably binge watch Friends on repeat
- What skill would you like to master? Cooking
- What movie title best describes your life? That one is hard, but I would say Footloose
- What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you? I can’t think of anything in particular
- What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of? Twitter. I get the obsession of it, but I never really got into it so I never use it
- If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have? Dog Sitter
- Who inspires you to be better? My family, friends, and teammates
- What is something you will NEVER do again? Eat a pickled egg
- What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Own a pet, furry friends are the best
- If you could have a super power, what would it be? Superhuman Intelligence
- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? A smart choice would be to pay off my student loans, but I would probably buy a G-wagon.
- If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? I would have to say Woodstock Music Festival as it was one of the greatest festivals in music history
- What do you like most about Minnesota State University, Mankato? How inclusive the university and community are here at Minnesota State University, Mankato!
