Minnesota State University, Mankato President Edward Inch announced today that Sheri Sargent has been promoted to chief of staff and vice president for administrative services, effective immediately. Sargent has served as chief of staff at Minnesota State Mankato since October 2018 and as the University’s executive administrative officer since January 2017.
There may be some new hardware in the University Athletics trophy case after Scott Nelsen’s chili concoction claimed the traveling trophy as the top vote-getter in the 2023 Chili Cook-off. The fundraiser hosted by University Dining Services gathered 285 pounds of nonperishable food aiding food insecurity in the Mankato area.
