Krampus Awaits You!

It’s the spookiest time of the year. Halloween is right around the corner, and with that comes the CSU Haunted Takeover.

The annual event – this year starting at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 – is put together by the Student Events Team literally turns the student union turn it into a haunted house. Hours of preparation go into the event to make an experience you won’t soon forget.

‘This year’s themes are a haunted holiday and folklore around the world. The event will take place in the CSU. The line will start by MavAve.’

Brooke Stangret, Special Events Chair

You can expect special surprises from holidays all around the world. Some to look forward to is, of course, Christmas, but also Chinese New Year amongst many others. We won’t spoil any others because we want it to be a haunting surprise for all students!

Each year RSO’s participate to scare those students daring enough to enter the CSU. They are still looking for RSOs to volunteer! If your RSO is interested you can email Brooke at brooke.stangret@mnsu.edu. You have until Oct. 25 to join.

Remember ALL students need to bring their MavCARD to get in. If you’re bringing a friend along who doesn’t go to school here it will be $5 at the door. Everyone MUST be wearing closed-toed shoes to enter.
