SCHEELS Foundation Contributes $500,000
SUMMARY: The new synthetic turf field in the sports dome at Minnesota State Mankato will be named the “SCHEELS Field at the Maverick All-Sports Dome.” President Richard Davenport announced today that the SCHEELS All-Sports Foundation has provided a $500,000 gift to offset the facility’s annual operating costs. Work officially started today on the $5.49 million seasonal Maverick All-Sports Dome at this morning’s groundbreaking ceremony.
