Noah Micke is a graduate student from Rosemount, Minn., majoring in sports management. Micke is the captain of the League of Legends Varsity Esports team and has been playing League of Legends since 2010. He also is the Student Activities graduate assistant for the Student Events Team. When he isn’t behind a computer screen, he likes to spend his time trying to make a positive impact in someone’s life or refueling on Chipotle.
- What three words best describe you? Outgoing, laid-back and focused
- What tops your list of pet peeves? People not putting the time and effort in and expecting more to come to them
- If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? Monkey, they are so carefree and hop around living their best life
- What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well? My very first hockey game working as an intern I gave the prize to the wrong row. I had to ask them to give it to the actual row that won and didn’t get in trouble. Taught me a lesson to pay attention to detail and didn’t do something like that again.

- What is your most prized possession? My computer, I use it a lot for school and gaming
- What three items can always be found in your refrigerator? Pickles, eggs and BBQ sauce or ketchup (depends on the month or the last time I went shopping)
- If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Watch twitch streams
- What skill would you like to master? To accomplish my dream to play League of Legends professionally
- What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you? Getting the graduate position here at Mankato
- What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of? Tik-Tok
- If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have? Community outreach for professional, college or non-profit organization
- Who inspires you to be better? My brother, he didn’t go to college and turned his life around with weight loss and working a job making six figures. Made dreams happen without any help.
- What is something you will NEVER do again? Try and eat 36 cinnamon rolls in one sitting
- What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Leave the country and explore out of the U.S.
- If you could have a super power, what would it be? Super strength
- If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a better computer and get parents a better car
- If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? First ever League of Legends World Championship. How all the inner workings and beginnings were and how it became as big as it is
- What do you like most about Minnesota State University, Mankato? The environment, it’s not that huge and I don’t feel like a very small person.
- If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you bring with you? An enormous amount of rice, a pot and a lighting tool
- If you had to eat at a fast-food restaurant for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chipotle
- Who is your celebrity crush? Selena Gomez
- What fictional character would you like to meet? Harry Potter
- Best purchase you ever made? Second monitor, has made school and gaming life easier
- What’s something that overwhelms you? When you tell teammates something and they don’t listen, or someone didn’t pay attention to what I said
- What are you most proud of? Ran a half marathon twice in my life
- If you had the option to know the date and circumstance of your death, would you? No
- What is one thing you want to accomplish or experience in your life? Making sure I make a positive impact in someone’s life
- What is one thing that should be taught in school but isn’t? How dangerous fast food can be to your wallet
- What was your favorite activity as a child? Playing videogames with my brother

- How long do you think you would last in a zombie apocalypse? I’d be dead right away
