Maverick Spotlight: Cross Wasabi Off Bobby Gauvreau’s List

Bobby Gauvreau

On this segment of the Athlete Spotlight, the inSIDER features MSU baseball player Bobby Gauvreau. Gauvreau is from Marietta, Georgia and majoring in Sport Management. He went 1-0 with two saves, a 2.45 ERA, 10 walks, 21 strikeouts, 15 hits allowed, and a .234 batting average against in 18 1/3 innings pitched over 14 relief appearances and earned first win of season against Southwest Minnesota State on March 18.

    • Outdoorsy, Laid back,
  2. What tops your list of pet peeves? 
    • People that smack their lips when they eat
  3. As the only human left on Earth, what would you do?
    • Probably live out the rest of my life in peace or trying to find a dog to chill with 
  4. What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well?
    • I’ve done a lot of dumb things and none have turned out well 
  5. Who is your all-time favorite sports star?
    • Lambo
  6.  What is your most prized possession?
    • My Hammock/Fishing Rods
  7.  What three items can always be found in your refrigerator
    • Milk, Eggs, Dill pickles 
  8.   What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
    • Not gonna lie I don’t know 
  9.  Who’s your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
    • Quinn XCII
  10.  What movie title best describes your life?
    • Dazed and Confused 
  11.  What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
    • When I was about 8 or 9 I won an ipod from a claw machine  
  12.  What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of?
    • American Horror Story

    • Wildlife expert

    • My parents

  20. What do you like most about Minnesota State University, Mankato? 
    • It’s a new experience from back home and being able to meet new people is always fun.
