Be Adventurous, Be BOLD

I am always seeking adventure, finding new places to see and explore is a passion of mine. To be adventurous means willing to take risks or try out new methods, ideas, and experiences. It involves excitement and thrill.

My zodiac sign is Sagittarius and one of their main traits is being adventurous. I love this about myself because I feel like I live my life around adventure. An adventure to me means literally anything. Making impulse decisions like staying up all night to watch the sunset or stepping out of my comfort zone. It’s all about the thrill.

One of my favorite adventures I have taken in my life time was when I went to Montana with my roommate Dani. She is from a small town, Eureka, Montana. Her dad lives there so we went to visit him and stay at his house.

The first day of adventuring was when we went kayaking on a lake between the mountains. To get to this lake we drove up this gravel road for about an hour, had no cell signal the whole time. It felt so free to not have any distractions. We were the only two at the lake, it was absolutely breathtaking. We kayaked to the other side of the lake, had a picnic and then ventured our way back.

The second day of adventuring was probably one of my favorites. We drove up the mountain in her dads Jeep with four other family friends to go huckleberry picking. Huckleberries are delicious! It was for sure a treat picking the huckleberries because we had to go deep into the bushes to find them. We picked about 200 berries that day.

On our last day, we went boating on Lake Koocanusa. This lake connects the United States, Canada, and Kootenai National Forest. Boating was the perfect way to end our weekend trip to Montana. The lake is surrounded by mountains and trees. There were cliffs we climbed up right off of the water and went cliff jumping!

I recently took a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana with my family in August 2020. I have found that I really like Montana. The state is beautiful and is made for endless adventure.

Try to get out and go adventure, go on a hike, take a weekend road trip, anything to start off the spring right!
