Support the Campus Kitchen on Random Acts of Kindness Day at Chipotle, 1600 Warren St. Mankato, MN.
The fundraiser will be held Wednesday, Feb. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A third of the proceeds made at the Chipotle fundraiser will be donated to the Campus Kitchen.
Students can participate by mentioning the fundraiser when ordering at Chipotle. If ordering online or in the app use the code CM66WQ9 to donate.
Campus Kitchen is a student led food rescue program which benefits people in the community facing food insecurity.
This fundraiser creates support for Campus Kitchen and provides ability to continue their program.
“Food rescue is an up and coming issue for this generation. We as a community need to be grateful and bridge the gap between food waste and insecurity. Bridging that gap is very simple, but it takes time for someone to do it and lead by example.” Karen Anderson, Assistant Director for Community Engagement.
