Kaitlin O’Neill, a 2020 Minnesota State Mankato dance and marketing graduate and member of Gamma Phi Beta, was crowned 2021 Miss South Dakota during the June 8 pageant in Rapid City. A native of Groton, O’Neill earned an $8,000 scholarship as the pageant winner. She also received an additional $3,000 after winning the preliminary talent contest, the overall interview competition and the community service award.
