Mavericks Elected to Top Statewide Leadership Roles with Students United

Minnesota State Mankato students Emma Zellmer and Arnavee Maltare have been elected to serve as the chair and vice chair, respectively, of Students United, the statewide student association that advocates on behalf of students at all seven of Minnesota State’s universities. 

Zellmer, a junior majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE), previously served as a Senator and as Speaker for Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Government, and she is current vice chair of Students United.

Maltare, a senior majoring in Management Information Systems and Business Administration, has served as Senator and is currently completing a term as vice president of the Student Government. 

Zellmer and Maltare will serve in their new roles during the 2021-2022 academic year.
