Pre-Festival Encore Performance Feb. 20 in Ted Paul Theatre

Wounded Healers, composed and directed by Dr. Timothy Berry, Interim Associate Vice president for Faculty Affairs and Equity Initiatives, is among stage productions invited to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region V Festival 55. The festival runs Jan. 22-28 in Des Moines, Iowa. A pre-festival campus performance in Ted Paul Theatre will be Monday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 p.m. Admission will be on a donation basis, to help send the production to the KCACTF. Wounded Healers expresses the ways in which Black bodies have suffered, transcended their own pain, and fostered healing through creativity throughout the course of human history. Region 5 is the largest of the eight in the country.
