Coined the “dean of sports information for Minnesota college hockey,” Paul Allan, retired Maverick senior deputy director/internal operations, is the new director of communications for the U.S. Hockey League.
The USHL introduced Allan as its new communications director on Dec. 21. Allan retired earlier in the month after more than 37 years as an athletic administrator with the Mavericks program. His distinguished career included work with the NHL, USAH, NCAA, NFL and the U.S. Olympic Committee.
