Minnesota State Mankato’s new President Edward Inch outlined five themes for the University’s future at his first Convocation with faculty and staff on Aug. 16.
Among this year’s speakers was 2021-22 Student Government President Reauna Stiff. The invitation from President Inch marked the first time a student government president spoke at the opening convocation.
In his presentation, Inch reflected on the University’s 153-year history outlined in William Lass’ book, ‘Minnesota State University, Mankato 1868-2018: A Sesquicentennial History. Inch called upon the campus community to help write the next chapter.
