Starbucks Is Coming to the CSU; Three New Dining Concepts Planned for Fall 2022

Starbucks will have a new home in the Centennial Student Union. This summer, the Jazzman’s location will transition into a Starbucks. Representatives from Starbucks have been working with CSU and University Dining to recreate the space. The new Starbucks will be open for Fall 2022 semester.

A Starbucks has been a frequent request among student survey responses.

Along with Starbucks, Chick-fil-A will be relocating to a larger space in the lower level of the CSU previously shared by Star Ginger and Erberts & Gerberts. New dining options coming in the fall include Peking Plate and Hissho Sushi both will move into the current Chick-fil-A location. Firehouse Subs will be replacing Sandella’s.

According to its LinkedIn site, Hissho Sushi Hissho operates sushi bars offering many healthy options in upscale supermarkets, cafes, hospitals, universities and corporate foodservice locations. Firehouse Subs based in Jacksonville, Fla., was started by former firefighter brothers Chris and Rob Sorensen. Firehouse Subs has over 1,200 restaurants in 45 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
