Emily Ford, First Woman To Winter Hike the 1,200-Mile Ice Age Trail, On Campus Sept. 30-Oct. 1

Emily Ford, featured in Outside magazine after become the first woman to complete the 1,200-mile Ice Age hiking trail IN WINTER, will be featured at two campus events on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1. The documentary, Breaking Trail, following Emily’s journey across Wisconsin’s Ice Age trail, will be shown Friday at 7 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium. Emily will be there for a Q&A session. On Saturday, hike with Emily through Rasmussen Woods near campus from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Mall Fest Offers 1,000 Ways To Win, Have Food and Have Fun on Wednesday, April 27

On Wednesday, April 27, the Centennial Student Union and the Student Events Team combine forces on the Campus Mall for the spring version of CSU Mall Fest and Student Events Team 1,000 Ways to Win.

Activities start at 10:30 a.m. and feature free food, petting zoo, live music, a noon ping-pong ball drop for prizes and a chance to meet members of the Mavericks men’s hockey team.
