University Program Helps Incarcerated Individuals Earn Associate’s Degrees & Fresh Start

Incarcerated individuals can earn two-year Associate’s Degrees and a fresh start in life through the Scholars Serving Time Program offered by Minnesota State Mankato.

The program directed by Vicki Hunter offers courses at three facilities: Shakopee, Faribault and Waseca. Faculty members go into classrooms within the facilities to offer courses for incarcerated students.
