The Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services (RPLS) will host a clean-up event at the Kiwanis Camp Patterson from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Anyone 10 years old or older can attend, but ages 10-17 must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years old or older.

According to one of the event organizers, Staci Nohl, Camp Patterson is a local summer camp on Lake Washington that provides an exciting summer experience to nearly 3,000 children each year. Join the clean-up event because it’s a great way to gain volunteer experience and give back to the community. Volunteers will be provided with breakfast and lunch during this event!

Volunteers must register for the event. You can register here. According to Nohl, upon registration, volunteers will be added to the RPLS roster to be included in email updates about the event.
