Early Alert Progress Survey Flags Student Progress as Semester Unfolds

Starting Sept. 10, undergraduate faculty will be asked to share feedback with you about your progress in classes so far using an Early Alert survey tool in Navigate360. If feedback is submitted for you, you will receive an email in your University MavMail account from MavCONNECT (no-reply@gradesfirst.com)

FAQ:I received an alert or progress concern from my instructor… what does that mean? Receiving feedback by an alert or concern being raised for you does not mean you are in trouble; however, it is something you should review and act on. Receiving an alert can give you an idea of your progress so far this semester. The early alert survey system is designed to give you useful, timely feedback on your performance, and to guide you to resources available to help you.

If you receive feedback via an alert,
 • read through the email you received regarding the flag,
• and talk with your campus contacts (student success coach, advisor, or faculty members) if you need assistance going forward.

NOTE: You may or may not receive feedback for each of your classes. If you are concerned about classes, connect with your instructors directly to ensure you are starting the semester on the right path.
