TUESDAY, SEPT. 3: INVOLVEMENT FAIR & CSU MALL FEST
On Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the CSU Mall, the RSO & Volunteer Fair will showcase more than 100 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and non-profit agencies eager to connect with new volunteers. Enjoy a variety of activities including a petting zoo, live music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and FREE hot dogs, chips and a beverage while supplies last.
RSOs & volunteers interested in participating can reserve their table starting August 1.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 3: MAVFEST 2024 – CONCERT
Get ready for one of the best nights of the year on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Preska Lawn. Enjoy the best cover songs in Minnesota, featuring a live performance by the IV Play band.
TUESDAY, SEPT. 3: PIN YOUR HOME MAP PROJECT AT CSU
On Wednesday, Sept. 4, the “Pin Your Home Map Project” will take place at CSU MAVAve from 1 a.m. to 11 p.m. Students can pin their hometowns on large maps of the United States displayed in the CSU, celebrating the diverse backgrounds of the student body and fostering a sense of community. A world map will also be available for international students to mark their origins.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 5: FRATERNITY MEET & GREET
Explore fraternity life at MSU at the Fraternity Meet & Greet on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Maverick Bullpen. The event is free, informal event offers a chance to meet members from all fraternities, enjoy refreshments, and get your questions answered. Feel free to join at any time.
SEPT. 7: FOOTBALL FIELD FREE MOVIE NIGHT – INSIDE OUT 2
At 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, Blakeslee Stadium will host a free screening of Inside Out 2! After the first home football game of the season, enjoy the movie with students, staff, and the public.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 12: FREE FARMERS MARKET
Enjoy fresh, healthy produce at the Free Farmers Market on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University Dining Center Lawn next to the Maverick Food Garden. With support from the Maverick Food Pantry, Second Harvest Heartland, and Little Green Wagon farmstand, Mavs in Action is bringing a variety of healthy and delicious food directly to you.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 14: SILENT DISCO & CARNIVAL
Experience the Silent Disco & Carnival on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8 to 11 p.m. at Preska Lawn (Rainsite: CSU Ballroom). Enjoy music through provided headphones with three stations of top 40 hits, international tunes, and throwbacks. Also, look forward to carnival games with prizes and free food.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 19: MAVERICK SPORTS BINGO
Attend Maverick Sports Bingo at Ostrander Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 10 p.m.. Enjoy 10 rounds of MSU sports-themed Bingo with over $500 in prizes. Explore opportunities to get involved with intramural sports and Maverick Athletics.
