This fall, Maverick Adventures introduces greater opportunities for enjoying Minnesota by launching their open rental shop for outdoor equipment, expanding their services beyond the rock wall and outdoor events.

The rental shop located in Myers Field House offers a wide range of options at very affordable prices, catering not only to students but also to the broader community.  When exploring Minnesota, having the right equipment is essential.

“Minnesota offers a lot of opportunities, and we want to help prepare you for the adventures out there,” says Madison Vandersee, Assistant Program Coordinator for Maverick Adventures.

The rental shop’s inventory covers all seasons: summer, fall, winter, and spring. Equipment available for rent includes bikes (for a day, a week, or even a semester), canoes, tents, sleeping bags, hammocks, yard games, and more. The process is straightforward: visit the shop at Myers Field House, Room 130, during office hours from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Upon arrival, you will sign an agreement form confirming your understanding of the equipment’s terms and conditions, make your payment, and then enjoy your adventure. The staff is available to provide advice on using the equipment and share insights on recommended places to visit.

If your trip is planned in advance, you may request your equipment at least two days prior, and the staff will arrange for pickup outside of regular office hours if needed.
