Mavericks Are Again ‘Best College Sports Team’

For the fourth time in a row, Minnesota State Mankato was named “Best University” and the Mavericks were Minnesota’s “Best College Sports Team” in the annual Star Tribune Minnesota’s Best Listing.

Winners are selected after online public polling earlier this year. The University and the Mavericks have won all four annual state contests since the Minnesota’s Best poll was started in 2021.

Winners will be celebrated at the Star Tribune’s fourth annual Minnesota’s Best Bash on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Union Depot in Saint Paul. The winner’s reception is from 6 to 7 p.m. with the full party from 7 to 9 p.m.
