They call her the New Maud. And, since 2005, Christine Lantinen, ’98, has been the owner and president of Maud Borup, a gourmet candy manufacturer headquartered in Plymouth, Minn. From its simple start more than a century ago by Maud Borup, the business has grown from storefront to forefront. Applying her Business, Marketing and Public Relations degrees, Christine continues to introduce new production while ensuring sustainability every step of the way. On Thursday, March 16, she shares her entrepreneurial journey and, literally offers a taste of Maud Borup. A truck on the campus mall will be handing out cotton candy.
