Feb. 26 Choral Mid-Winter Concert Celebrates the Beauty and Harshness of the ‘Seasons’

Come join the university’s choral ensembles on Sunday, Feb. 26 for our mid-winter concert! Led by Dr. Elisabeth Cherland and Ms. Abbey Guggisberg, the Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, and University Chorale will be performing several pieces centering around the theme, “Seasons.” This theme explores not only the beauty and harshness of Earth’s natural seasons, but also seasons of heartbreak, love, joy, and pain. You will hear pieces such as “Turn, Turn, Turn” written by Pete Seeger and arranged by Linda Palmer and “Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind” by John Rutter. Minnesota State Mankato students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. General admission is $9 for adults or $7 for non-MNSU students and all children. See you there!
