First Fair of the Year is Tuesday, Nov. 3
The first Housing Fair of the year on Tuesday, Nov. 3, offers a new, fun feature – Mav Hunt: Housing Edition.
The fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CSU Ballroom.
Many of the housing properties that are most popular with MSU students will have representatives present at the fair, and students will be able to visit with them about options for next year.
Now is the typical kick-off time for students searching for housing arrangements for the coming 2021-22 academic year, said John Bulcock, Student Activities assistant director of off-campus housing.
“A lot of students are surprised that the housing search process starts this early, but it’s how the renewal and new leasing cycle works,” Bulcock said. “While we encourage students to start thinking about their options, they shouldn’t rush into signing anywhere before they’re certain they’re going to be here and confident that they’ve found what they really want and need.”

In addition to this year’s fair, Bulcock said the new Mav Hunt: Housing Edition encourages students to visit housing providers’ websites, social media, and properties to find out more about their housing options and become better informed.
Missions will be posted beginning Monday, Nov. 2, and students can begin completing them at the Housing Fair on the Nov. 3. The Mav Hunt will last through November 17.
Students who complete more Mav Hunt missions will have better chances at winning one of several great prizes.
