Sarah Anderson, 19, a junior at Minnesota State Mankato, was crowned the 2023 Miss Minnesota USA on Sunday, July 30, at the annual pageant in Burnsville.

Anderson from Maple Grove, Minn., will now represent Minnesota at the 72nd MISS USA pageant in September at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nev.

The winner will go on to represent the United States at Miss Universe 2023 competition slated for November in El Salvador.
