The International Student Association is hosting “Cross-Cultural Representation”, an event to help students learn about cultures other than their own on Nov. 26.
This event plans to bring diverse cultures together and showcase their differences and uniqueness.
Several international student organizations will give a brief presentation addressing traditions and customs commonly found within their culture.
Sanjay Duwal, web manager for the International Student Association, shares the main focus of this event.
“The main idea of this event is to show what international RSOs are doing on-campus and their role, as a lot of students don’t even know they exist.”

As an added bonus, international students can earn CCS (Cultural Contribution Scholarship) hours for attending.
CCS hours are a required amount of time that international students must spend participating in cultural events on campus.
The event will be Nov. 26 in CSU 201, 3 to 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend and there is no additional fee.
