Soccer Standout Jenny Vetter Signs Professional Deal in Portugal with Racing Power Football Club

Former Minnesota State midfielder Jenny Vetter has signed a professional contract with the Racing Power Football Club in Portugal.  

Racing Power is a member of the Portugal National Women’s Soccer Linga BPI.  Vetter is expected to report to the team in July. 

Over the course of her career at Minnesota State Vetter finished ranked third in career goals with 57 and points with 132.  The Mankato, Minn., native recorded 24 game winning goals.   

As a Maverick, Vetter was named All-NSIC First Team three times, and this past fall, she was named the College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Player of the Year.   Additionally, Vetter was named a Third-Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association, becoming the first Maverick to earn All-American status by the group in program history.   

Minnesota State finished its 2022 season with a 14-2-6 record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
