To support our newly updated Tobacco Free Campus Policy, which pledges ongoing communication and support for those who would like to quit, the Mavs for Clean Air group is joining with thousands of Americans for the National Great American Smokeout campaign.
The purpose of this campaign is to share cessation resources for those who wish to quit or reduce their tobacco use. This is especially relevant during COVID-19 times, as quitting reduce risk from both becoming infected and developing severe complications from Covid-19.
Want to quit tobacco but don’t know how? Just quit but need some help? On Thursday, Nov. 19, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. come to the CSU to get a free quit kit or “Cash in your Cloud” (Vape device) for a gift card! At this time, we are also announcing that registration is now open for a free monthly one-hour NEW virtual cessation workshop.
