Awesome Lineup Includes New and Expanded Programs

NEW MAVERICKS: Get ready for an epic Welcome Week, Aug. 17-20, at Minnesota State Mankato! We’ve got an awesome lineup of events and activities making friends and kickstarting your college experience.

Galactic Bingo–Minnesota’s largest bingo game– is back and bigger than ever, with TWO Saturday night sessions in Myers Field House at 8 and 10 p.m. It’s Minnesota’s largest bingo game, and you won’t want to miss the chance to win some out-of-this-world prizes!

And that’s not all! Lace up your skates (don’t worry, bring your own if you’ve got ’em) and hit the ice at All Seasons Arena. We’ve extended the open ice skating sessions with nightly thrills on both Friday and Saturday. Glide across the rink and show off your moves!

But wait, there’s more! We’re introducing some fantastic new additions to Welcome Week. Friday night’s Red Flag, Green Flag: Relationships in College program in the CSU Ballroom is your chance to get some expert advice on navigating the complex world of college relationships. And if you’re up for a “chill” night of relaxation and rejuvenation, join us for Yoga Flow on Saturday in the CSU Ballroom. Stretch, breathe, and find your zen amidst the excitement.

Of course, we’ve got all the classic favorites too! Club Maverick, New Student Rally, Marching Through the Arch, Backyard Bash, Choose-a-Palooza, Prize Flight, FREE bowling and billiards in the Maverick Bullpen, and even a FREE rock-climbing wall. With nearly 60 scheduled events and activities, there’s something for everyone!
