The sophomore from Minneapolis, Minn. is a sprinter on the Minnesota State men’s track and field team. This past Friday, the program sent several sprinters to the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa. Shaheed Hickman finished first in the 100m dash with a time of 10:43, which is a provisional qualifier that is currently the sixth best time recorded in the nation. During the Drake Relays this past weekend, Hickman was a part of the men’s 4x100m relay team that finished first with a time of 40.76, which is tenth best in DII.
