Alex Goettl – Maverick Football #49

The inSIDER features Alex Goettl, a senior on the Maverick football team. A Biomedical Science Major, Goettl grew up in North Mankato and graduated from Mankato West High School. In the 2018, Goettl played and started in all 14 games at linebacker. He led the team in tackles with 87 and was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence amongst many other feats.

  1. What three words best describe you?  Determined, caring, hard-working
  2. What tops your list of pet peeves? Noisy eaters
  3. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why? A duck because they can swim and fly.
  4. What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well? Choosing BioMed as a major
  5. Who is your all-time favorite sports star? Adrian Peterson
  6. What is your most prized possession? My car
  7. What three items can always be found in your refrigerator? Eggs, chocolate milk, spinach
  8. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Travel
  9. What skill would you like to master? Golf
  10. What movie title best describes your life? Just Go With It
  11. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you? Getting engaged this summer
  12. What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of? Game of Thrones
