BREA PERRON: Back in the Day We Didn’t Have Tik-Tok, We Had Pinecones Fights

Brea Perron is a senior majoring in clinical psychology and thrower for the Women’s Track and Field team. On Saturday, March 27, Perron and several other throwers competed at the Great River Rust Buster hosted by University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She finished first in the shot put with a distance of 13.76m. Perron also finished first in the hammer throw with a provisional qualifying throw of 53.96m and is now the seventh best throw in Division II.

  • What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well? Played four sports in high school and I ended up quitting softball for track and it turned out pretty well with where I am at now

  • What is your most prized possession? My books, I love reading
  • What three items can always be found in your refrigerator? Milk, coffee creamer and eggs
  • If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time? Read
  • What skill would you like to master? Good at learning other languages
  • What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you? Transfer here because my coach came here
  • What is something that a ton of people are obsessed with but you just don’t get the point of? Tik-Tok
  • If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have? Psychologist
  • Who inspires you to be better? My teammates Katie and Kaylee and Coach Turgeon
  • What is something you will NEVER do again? Camp in freezing cold temperatures
  • What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Volunteer
