Wearing #7 on the Women’s Hockey team, Claire Butorac is the alternate captain and a senior forward from Andover, Minn. A two-time WCHA All-Academic Team in her sophomore and junior year, she is also a 2020-21 recipient of the Maverick Pride Award. She appeared in all games her freshman, sophomore and junior year.

  • What do you like most about Minnesota State University, Mankato? The small-town feel and how the community rallies around the school activities but specifically their support for Maverick athletics.
