Free Night-Time Tubing at Mt. Kato for All Minnesota State Mankato Students Jan. 29

The Student Events Team partnered with Mount Kato Ski Area to host a free tubing event for all MNSU students at Mt. Kato on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, from 7:00-11:00pm. Here are some tips to prepare students for the fun, free event:

Bring your MAVCard

Students should come to Mt. Kato Ski Area with their MavCARD available for free entry. Students are limited one admission per MavCARD,

Plan for Rides

While shuttles are available, seating is limited. Students are encouraged to find their own rides to Mt. Kato. Otherwise, shuttles will drive to and from the CSU, Lot 23, Preska Hall, and Mt. Kato every 30-40 minutes. The first bus will pick up at 6:30 p.m., and the last bus will leave Mt. Kato at 11:15 p.m.

Stay Healthy

All students should prepare for cold, winter weather by bringing their coats and other warm accessories. Additionally, to maintain CDC recommendations, students must wear masks and maintain a 6-foot distance between others during the event.
