Escape rooms are a popular form of entertainment, and Kato Escape Room is one of the best around town. Located at 619 S Front St., Kato Escape Room is just 1.1 miles from campus. They never pair you with strangers, unlike other escape rooms, making it a great destination for any group.  

In an escape room, a group of people solve a real-life puzzle within a certain period. At Kato Escape, that period is typically 60 minutes. They recommend 4-8 players, but most rooms can accommodate up to 10. Most rooms will cost $85 for up to 6 players, and then $15 for every additional player. This means if you can get 6 players, it will be under $15 a person.  

Kato Escape has five different themed rooms to choose from, all the way from 80s to the Mayans. One notable room is “The Oracle,” which is designed for smaller groups. It is only 30 minutes long and holds up to 3 players. This room runs for $45.
