Malik Willingham was named to the NABC All-Central District First Team. The Mavericks’ senior guard from Waseca, Minn., started in all 34 games for the Mavericks this season and is averaging a team-leading 18.9 points and 4.2 assists a game while shooting 43.0 percent from the field. Willingham has tallied at least 20 points in 15 games this season, including a season-high 33 points against Sioux Falls. Earlier this season, he was named the NSIC Player of the Year and the D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year.
