Maverick Involvement Team Empowers Students with Leadership Opportunities & Personal Growth

Building out-of-classroom leadership skills is goal the Maverick Involvement Team seeks for fellow Mavericks.

An extension of the Leadership programming offered through Student Activities, the Maverick Involvement Team of students seeks and promotes opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Mission: The Maverick Involvement Team(MIT) empowers students and Recognized Student Organizations to make Maverick memories while developing exemplary leadership skills, building collegiate relationships, and promoting personal and professional growth.

Ongoing Programs and Upcoming Projects: Leadership workshops every Tuesday at 5 PM in CSU 201 and they have an RSO fair from Sept 26 – Sept 29 in CSU Mav Ave.

How to get involved: Join us during Spring Leadership Retreat from Feb 10 – 13, Apply for a leadership position with MIT by the end of the year if our students are not returning, attend our workshops and gain leadership experience. 

Why would someone want to get involved: They would gain interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, get to know the organizations we have on campus, meet new people and develop relationships.
