Kornelius Klah runs hurdles and the 400 meters for the Mavericks Track and Field team. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., he earned his degree from George Mason University and currently is pursuing his master’s degree in Community Health Education. In recent meets, he placed first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.05 at the President Davenport Classic on Feb. 20. He also was part of the 4×400 relay team which claimed first with a time of 3.21.02.

- Who inspires you to be better? My high school track coach. He saw what I can do when I couldn’t
- What is something you will NEVER do again? Played basketball all day and went to movie on empty stomach, ate theater food and didn’t feel great the next day, couldn’t poop or puke.
