Tik Tok…What’s the Point, Again?
Katie Taylor throws shotput and weight throw for the Mavericks Track & Field team. For the second time this season, the Hayward, Wisc. native has been named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week after finishing first in the President Davenport Classic Triangular. Taylor earns the honor by finishing first with a toss of 64-8.75 (19.73m) in the weight throw which is an automatic qualifier and ranks as the second best throw in the nation this season. She also finished first in the shot put with a top throw of 47-7.75 (14.52m) which is a provisional mark.
