NFL Draft Diamonds, a website dedicated to small school football players, has listed four Minnesota State Mavericks as promising 2023 NFL prospects.

Wide receiver Jalen Sample, and defensive backs Alijah McGhee and Somon Anderson were tagged by Draft Diamonds as potential NFL players. A later posting added Payton Conrad to the list.

The website’s Q&A player interviews provide a personal look into each player. Interview questions include: “Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?”

The Mavericks open their 2022 season on Sept. 1 at Bemidji State. First home game is Sept. 10 against the University of Minnesota/Duluth Bulldogs.
