Rachel Shumski is a red-shirt junior forward on the Women’s Basketball team. Majoring in management with an emphasis in human resource management. In 2018 Shumski was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

1. What three words best describe you? 
   1.  Driven, Genuine, Resilient
2. What tops your list of pet peeves?
   1.  Others being late.
3. If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
   1. A dog because they are loving and loyal.
4. What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well?
   1. Left my comfort zone and went out for Drama/Theater in high school and turned out I actually enjoyed it
5. Who is your all-time favorite sports star?
   1. Lindsay Whalen
6. What is your most prized possession? 
   1. Photo albums due to all memories that come with them
7. What three items can always be found in your refrigerator?
   1. Milk, Eggs, and Cheese
8. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
   1. I would travel more
9. What skill would you like to master? 
   1. Be able to fluently speak a foreign language

    1. Being born on Friday the 13th

    1. I would go back into the past to revisit spending time with grandparents who have passed away.
20. What do you like most about Minnesota State University, Mankato?
    1. The campus and the people! It’s the best of both worlds.
