Library Display Offers Awareness and Resources to Celebrate U.S. Constitution Day Sept. 17

Among resources offered by the library to help observe Constitution Day is this video on the original thoughts behind creating a U.S. Constitution.

U.S. Constitution Day is Sept. 17. In recent times, social issues such as free speech, gun rights and abortion have put Constitutional rights at the forefront of personal and political discussions across the country.

Knowing and living within the Constitution is part of the annual focus of Constitution Day. As part of this year’s annual observance on campus, the library offers a display and list of resources that will stay up through the week following Constitution Day.

Along with free copies of The Constitution Pocketbook and an Ask Ben bookmark, the display offers library resources to materials and information related to the Constitution. The pocketbook and bookmark will be available at the Circulation service point and the Educational Resource Center service point, as well.
