Since Feb. 1, the Maverick All-Sports Dome at Minnesota State Mankato has opened its doors to external rentals after the COVID-19 safety status changed from orange to yellow.

Almost a year after Covid closed the newly opened dome to off-campus users on March 15, 2020, the Maverick All-Sports Dome is now renting access to such groups as Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato United Soccer, Martin Luther College, and youth teams located in the Mankato area.

The Maverick All-Sports Dome will continue to be open to students with sports clubs and intramural teams. Hours for open dome and rental information is located on the Campus Recreation website.

The Maverick All-Sports Dome will remain closed to the general public during the spring due to capacity limitations. The Maverick All-Sports Dome capacity is 400 patrons, but due to COVID-19, only 25% of the dome can be occupied.

Maverick All-Sports Dome staff are required to clean high touch points of the All-Sports Dome. Everyone entering the All-Sports Dome is required to wear a mask at all times in the facility.

For more information on the Maverick All-Sports Dome check out the Campus Recreation website.
