On Jonah Maurer’s application for the lead role among Maverick Bullpen student staff, he was asked what he would do to ensure a high standard for customer experience. “The one thing I would do to ensure a high standard of satisfaction at the Bullpen is being consistent.” That consistency has led other Bullpen staff to state “they are the new Jonah” in recognition of the high standard he set.
A growing number of Minnesota State Mankato students weekly visit the Maverick Food Pantry in Carkoski Commons. The MFP is a full service pantry, offering FREE fresh, frozen, non-perishable and personal care products to students who may be facing food insecurity.

In being nominated for the BEST Board, Nomin Senadheera was quickly recognized for his active participation in a wide range of campus activities ranging from CSU Building Manager to Student Events Team. “Nomin has become extremely involved on campus and is now a well-known face to many. He is always looking for new ways to grow his leadership experiences and meet new people. He is a part of many organizations, and very involved in them.”
